Han Ji Min Remembers Nothing But Son Suk Ku's Name In New Drama "Heavenly Ever After"
JTBC’s upcoming drama “Heavenly Ever After” has unveiled new stills featuring Han Ji Min!
“Heavenly Ever After” is a transcendent romance starring Kim Hye Ja as Lee Hae Sook, a woman who reunites with her husband in heaven after death. Unlike the other residents of heaven—including her husband Go Nak Joon (Son Suk Ku), who has chosen to return to the 30-something version of himself—Lee Hae Sook makes the unusual choice to keep her 80-something appearance.
In the newly released photos, Han Ji Min transforms into So Mi, showcasing her pure and angelic smile. So Mi lost all her memories, but the only memory left in her mind is the name “Go Nak Joon.” Because of this, Lee Hae Sook misunderstands and becomes jealous of So Mi from their very first meeting, viewing her as a potential rival. The peculiar living arrangement between Lee Hae Sook, Go Nak Joon, and So Mi is drawing significant interest.
Han Ji Min, who is collaborating with director Kim Suk Yoon for the fourth time since their first meeting with the film “Detective K: Secret of the Virtuous Widow,” shared her reason for joining the project without hesitation: “When I heard that the director would be working with Kim Hye Ja again, I wanted to be part of it no matter what role it was.”
The actress added, “When I received the script, I stayed up all night reading it because it was so engaging. The concept of being able to choose the age you want to remember most when you go to heaven felt very special. Above all, the idea that life doesn’t end in heaven but continues as a journey, and that you have to live well there just as you do here, is what sets this story apart.”
“Heavenly Ever After” is set to premiere on April 19 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
