
April Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from March 6 to April 6.
“Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 5,747,502. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “BTS’s j-hope,” “SHINee’s Key,” and “Kian84,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “challenge,” “gift,” and “reveal.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.87 percent positive reactions.
“Running Man” took second place for April with a brand reputation index of 4,165,454, while “My Little Old Boy” ranked third with a score of 3,366,486.
“How Do You Play?” came in fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,190,639, marking a 5.92 percent rise in its score since last month.
Finally, “The Manager” rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 3,062,994, marking a 93.37 percent increase in its score since March.
