Jung Eun Chae In Talks To Join Ryu Seung Ryong In New Office Drama
Jung Eun Chae may be taking on a new project soon!
On April 7, STARNEWS reported that Jung Eun Chae will be joining Ryu Seung Ryong in the new JTBC drama “The Story of Manager Kim Who Owns a Home in Seoul and Works at a Major Corporation” (literal title).
In response to the reports, a source from Jung Eun Chae’s agency PROJECT HOSOO shared, “She has received an offer and is reviewing it.”
Based on a webtoon, “The Story of Manager Kim Who Owns a Home in Seoul and Works at a Major Corporation” follows a middle-aged man who loses everything he once valued. After a long journey, he finds his true self, no longer defined by his job as a manager at a major corporation.
Earlier in April, Ryu Seung Ryong was confirmed to play the titular role of Kim Nak Soo, a salesman with 25 years of experience. He owns a prime apartment in Seoul, has a wife and son, and enjoys an enviable life. However, over time, he begins to lose his footing both at work and at home. It was further confirmed that Myung Se Bin will play Kim Nak Soo’s wife and homemaker Park Ha Jin, while Cha Kang Yoon will play Nak Soo and Ha Jin’s son Kim Soo Kyum.
According to the reports, Jung Eun Chae has been offered the role of a drama original character not in the original webtoon.
Jung Eun Chae previously captivated audiences through tvN’s “Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born,” raising anticipation for her next project. It was also recently reported that she is in talks to star in the drama “Honor” (literal title) with Lee Na Young.
