Kim Min Ha And Gong Myoung Have A Heartbreaking Reunion In “Way Back Love”

“Way Back Love” has shared new stills from its upcoming episode!

Based on a novel, “Way Back Love” is a fantasy romance drama starring Kim Min Ha as Hee Wan, a 24-year-old woman who has isolated herself from society after losing the will to live. A week before her death, her childhood friend and first love Ram Woo (Gong Myoung) appears before her as a grim reaper.

The previously released episodes portrayed Ram Woo and Hee Wan growing close during their school days through a playful name-switching game. However, after Ram Woo’s death, he reappeared before Hee Wan as a grim reaper and delivered the shocking news that she has only one week left to live. Suspicion from their friends that Hee Wan may have been involved in Ram Woo’s death adds more intrigue to their story.

Currently, the two are checking off items on a bucket list together and making new memories, but their feelings for each other remain unresolved.

In the newly released photos, Ram Woo and Hee Wan appear to be on the verge of tears, their expressions full of unspoken feelings and sorrow. The stills also capture their past graduation trip with friends further heightening the tension.

The upcoming third and fourth episodes will follow Ram Woo and Hee Wan as they come to terms with their growing feelings for each other. They will also meet another key character, Hong Seok (Jung Gun Joo), who holds a clue to the mystery of Ram Woo’s death.

The production team shared, “The awkward first love of teenagers and the shadow of regret it leaves behind will unfold simultaneously,” adding, “Please pay attention to the truth behind Ram Woo’s death and the evolving relationships among the four friends.”

The next episode of “Way Back Love” will air on April 10 at 12 p.m. KST.
