Watch: Yook Sungjae And Kim Ji Yeon Are Attacked By Mysterious Figures In Kim Ji Hun's Palace In Teaser For "The Haunted Palace"
SBS’s “The Haunted Palace” has unveiled the latest special teaser, offering a glimpse of the upcoming drama’s chilling moments!
“The Haunted Palace” is a fantasy historical rom-com that delves into the tale of the Eight Feet Tall spirit that bears a grudge against the king, a female shaman who opposes it, and an Imugi (imaginary creature that is able to transform into a dragon upon acquiring a magical jewel).
The newly released video opens with Yoon Gap (BTOB’s Yook Sungjae), a royal archivist and Yeo Ri’s first love, running through the palace at night, only to be captured by a monstrous figure. The scene then shifts to Yeo Ri (WJSN’s Kim Ji Yeon), who hears a voice calling her name, urging her to come to a well. But before she can respond, she is grabbed by another mysterious figure and dragged into the depths of the well.
As the teaser’s caption ominously reads, “There is a ghost that seeks the king’s blood,” King Yi Jeong (Kim Ji Hun) appears troubled, wondering if the strange occurrences in the palace are the work of a ghost. A shaman is then shown kneeling before the king, declaring, “A terrible evil spirit—even His Majesty will not be able to escape its great misfortune.”
As the teaser nears its end, it shows a mysterious figure covered in straw, darting in and out of the palace even during the daytime. It leaves viewers wondering what kind of dark secrets the palace holds and the story behind this vengeful spirit.
