EXO’s Xiumin And WJSN’s Chu So Jung Face A Breaking Point Over Lee Sae On’s Offer In “Heo’s Diner”
“Heo’s Diner” has previewed a tense confrontation ahead of tonight’s episode!
Based on the web novel of the same name, “Heo’s Diner” is a fantasy rom-com that follows Heo Gyun (EXO’s Xiumin), a figure from the Joseon era, who unexpectedly travels 400 years into the present time and begins running a restaurant.
Spoilers
Previously, Heo Gyun, who had been running Heo’s Diner alongside Eun Sil (WJSN’s Chu So Jung), received a scouting offer from Lee Hyuk (Lee Sae On), the chef from a restaurant across the street. Convinced that Heo’s Diner wouldn’t survive without Heo Gyun, Lee Hyuk devised a strategy to lure him away—leaving viewers curious about what choice Heo Gyun would make.
The newly released stills show Heo Gyun visiting Lee Hyuk’s office, where Eun Sil is already seated next to Lee Hyuk. The unexpected trio raises questions: Why are Eun Sil and Lee Hyuk meeting? And what brings Heo Gyun there?
In one still, Heo Gyun is seen grabbing Eun Sil’s arm, attempting to stop her from taking further action. Yet Eun Sil, the restaurant’s legal owner, appears resolute as she sits down, pen in hand, to sign what looks like a contract. Could this mean she’s decided to hand over Heo’s Diner to Lee Hyuk? Given her ongoing financial struggles—including the burden of her mother’s hospital expenses—her tough choice draws attention.
For Lee Hyuk, the acquisition is more than just a business deal. With Eun Sil’s signature, he gains the last piece needed to push forward his vision for a Korean cuisine-themed village—a project that promises him both fame and wealth.
What will become of Heo’s Diner, and how will this decision affect the bond between Heo Gyun and Eun Sil?
The next episode of “Heo’s Diner” airs on April 14 at 9 p.m. KST.
