Moon Sung Geun, Yeom Hye Ran, Kim Hee Won, And More Stir Up Trouble And Charm In Upcoming Film “Virus”

The upcoming film “Virus” is turning up the excitement with a powerhouse lineup of scene-stealing supporting characters!

“Virus” tells the story of Taek Seon (Bae Doona), who is infected with a deadly virus that makes people fall in love for no reason. She embarks on an unexpected journey with three men: researcher Soo Pil (Son Suk Ku), former classmate Yeon Woo (Jang Ki Ha), and Lee Kyun (Kim Yun Seok), the only expert capable of developing a cure.

Moon Sung Geun plays Professor Sung, the chairman of a medical foundation who uses the virus for profit. A former superior of Lee Kyun, he enters into a tense clash with him over Taek Seon, adding a layer of suspense and drama to the narrative.

Kim Hee Won is the lead researcher at the foundation, responsible for its operations. Ambitious and eager to climb the ranks, his character also has a clumsy, comical side—brought to life by Kim Hee Won’s versatile acting that injects energy into the story.

Oh Hyun Kyung takes on the role of Young Hee, a doctor who was once both a colleague and lover of Lee Kyun. Having a fiery personality, she slaps Lee Kyun—who had left abruptly for the U.S.—the moment she sees him again. Despite that, she proves to be a tsundere-style ally who wholeheartedly supports Lee Kyun’s efforts to cure Taek Seon.

Min Jin Woong portrays Jeong Hoon, the youngest researcher on the team. Shy and cautious, he may be small in confidence, but he always steps up whenever Lee Kyun or Young Hee asks for help, becoming a reliable source of support and adding depth to the story.

Rounding out the cast is Yeom Hye Ran as Mak Soon, a village resident who unknowingly spreads the virus. After being infected, she falls head over heels for the head researcher and shamelessly flirts with him at every opportunity, delivering unexpected laughs.
