Moon Tae Yoo and Ha Yun Kyung may be reprising their beloved “Hospital Playlist” roles in tvN’s new drama “Resident Playbook”!
On April 16, OSEN reported that Moon Tae Yoo and Ha Yun Kyung—who played Yong Seok Min and Heo Sun Bin in the tvN’s hit series “Hospital Playlist”—will be making special appearances in the drama’s spin-off “Resident Playbook.”
In response to the report, the production team briefly stated, “Please confirm through the broadcast.”
“Resident Playbook” depicts the realistic and relatable hospital lives and heartwarming friendships of obstetrics and gynecology residents at the Jongro branch of Yulje Medical Center. The series stars Go Youn Jung, Kang You Seok, Shin Si Ah, Han Ye Ji, and Jung Joon Won.
In “Hospital Playlist,” Moon Tae Yoo won over viewers as the warmhearted and often comedic neurosurgery chief resident Yong Seok Min, while Ha Yun Kyung portrayed the calm and straightforward neurosurgery resident Heo Sun Bin.
The two characters gained attention for their blossoming romance, with their “proposal” scene in particular leaving a lasting impression on fans. With the duo rumored to appear in “Resident Playbook,” fans are eager to find out what became of the couple after “Hospital Playlist.”
During the press conference for “Resident Playbook,” creator Shin Won Ho had already confirmed that the five main cast members of “Hospital Playlist”—Jo Jung Suk, Jeon Mi Do, Jung Kyung Ho, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Kim Dae Myeung—would be making special cameos. Ahn Eun Jin also made a splash with her special appearance at the end of Episode 2, sparking excitement among longtime fans of the series.
