BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” continues its impressive run!
On April 20 at around 8 p.m. KST, the music video for “APT.” officially surpassed 1.5 billion views on YouTube. This means that it only took approximately six months, two days, and seven hours (or 184 days) to achieve this record since the music video’s release on October 18, 2024 at 1 p.m. KST.
Through this milestone, “APT.” once again extended its record as the fastest music video by an Asian artist to surpass 1.5 billion views on YouTube. The music video is now tied with J Balvin and Willy William’s “Mi Gente” as the third fastest music video of all time to reach the 1.5 billion mark at 184.3 days, following Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito” featuring Daddy Yankee and Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You.”
