Yum Jung Ah, Park Hae Joon, Choi Yoon Ji, And Kim Min Kyu Confirmed To Star In New Drama
Yum Jung Ah, Park Hae Joon, Choi Yoon Ji, and Kim Min Kyu are set to star in new drama!
On April 21, the production team announced that Yum Jung Ah, Park Hae Joon, Choi Yoon Ji, and Kim Min Kyu have officially joined the cast of “First, For Love” (literal title), with filming set to begin soon.
“First, For Love” is a heartwarming comedy drama about a mismatched duo: a 43-year-old single mother and her 23-year-old medical student daughter. The pair move to the countryside to start a new chapter in their lives, where they encounter various people and chaotic situations that teach them profound lessons about life.
Yum Jung Ah will star as Lee Ji An, a confident single mother and construction site manager. Known for her strong-willed and detail-oriented nature, Ji An’s life takes an emotional turn as she deals with her daughter Hyo Ri’s (Choi Yoon Ji’s) unexpected rebellion and reconnects with her first love, Ryu Jeong Seok (Park Hae Joon). Yum Jung Ah shared, “I’m excited to work with such amazing people. I’ll truly cherish my time portraying Lee Ji An.”
Park Hae Joon will play Ryu Jeong Seok, a gruff architectural designer and single father. His calm, routine life begins to shift when his first love, Lee Ji An, and her daughter unexpectedly reenter his world. Park Hae Joon commented, “It’s a heartwarming story about making room for one another in our lives. I’m also excited to work with Yum Jung Ah.”
Rising actress Choi Yoon Ji will portray Lee Hyo Ri, a once-promising medical student who becomes a wandering young woman after moving to a quiet village. Choi Yoon Ji said, “I’m thrilled and honored to work with such respected actors. I hope to show my gratitude through a strong performance.”
Kim Min Kyu will play Ryu Bo Hyun, the son of Ryu Jeong Seok and a young farmer who grows flowers. He will experience new emotions after an unexpected meeting with Hyo Ri. Kim Min Kyu shared, “I’m excited to try a genre I’ve always wanted to explore. I’m already looking forward to filming.”
