Yoo Hae Jin Pours A Drink For Lee Je Hoon Amid Unspoken Tension In Upcoming Film “Big Deal”

Upcoming film “Big Deal” has unveiled new stills featuring Lee Je Hoon and Yoo Hae Jin!

“Big Deal” follows the story of Pyo Jong Rok (Yoo Hae Jin), a chief financial officer who treats his soju company like family, and Choi In Bum (Lee Je Hoon), a profit-driven employee at a global investment firm. Set during the 1997 IMF financial crisis, the two clash over the future of Korea’s beloved national liquor.

The newly released stills highlight a tense moment between the two characters, sharing drinks in a subtle but charged exchange. Jong Rok, the chief financial officer of Gukbo Group, is fiercely dedicated to protecting the company’s signature product, Gukbo Soju. During a moment of crisis, In Bum approaches Jong Rok with an offer to resolve Gukbo’s financial troubles. In response, Jong Rok opens up, offering In Bum a glass of soju with a warm smile.

However, In Bum, who secretly plans to take over Gukbo, accepts the drink with a subtle, unreadable expression, leaving his true intentions unclear. The contrasting images of Jong Rok and In Bum stir curiosity about how their relationship—driven by opposing goals—will evolve and what the outcome will be.

With the pairing of Yoo Hae Jin and Lee Je Hoon considered one of the film’s key highlights, their performances are raising expectations. The actors are set to captivate audiences as they portray the deepening relationship between their characters through soju, all while the fate of Gukbo Soju hangs in the balance.

“Big Deal” is set to hit theaters on June 3.
