Bae Doona Goes From Gloomy To Glowing After Catching A Love "Virus" In New Film
Upcoming film “Virus” has unveiled new stills of Bae Doona!
“Virus” tells the story of Taek Seon (Bae Doona), who is infected with a virus that makes people fall in love for no reason. She embarks on an unexpected journey with three men: researcher Soo Pil (Son Suk Ku), former classmate Yeon Woo (Jang Ki Ha), and Lee Kyun (Kim Yun Seok), the only expert capable of developing a cure.
The newly released stills highlight the contrasting emotional states of her character, with the first set of photos depicting Tae Seon in a dark, somber mood. She is seen gazing blankly into the distance, standing helplessly as she avoids sudden rain, staring at a laptop with a vacant expression, and lying face down in bed in a depressed, lifeless position.
The images exude an air of melancholy, with Taek Seon’s expressions conveying a sense of deep internal struggle.
In contrast, the next set of images shows her in a joyful mood with a bright smile. Taek Seon is seen laughing cheerfully during a conversation with a man, gazing at him affectionately. In another shot, she shyly places her fingers on her lips with her cheeks flushed, radiating the bliss of being in love.
Bae Doona shared, “The character’s pessimistic personality before she gets infected [with the virus] is very similar to mine.” She continued, “Isn’t love like a virus? When I fall in love, I, too, change positively and feel happier.”
“Virus” is set to hit theaters on May 7.
