BLACKPINK's Jennie Re-Enters Billboard Hot 100 With "like JENNIE" After Coachella
BLACKPINK’s Jennie is back on the Billboard Hot 100!
On April 22 local time, Billboard revealed that Jennie’s latest solo title track “like JENNIE” had re-entered the Hot 100 (its weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States) following her performance at Coachella.
“like JENNIE,” which debuted at No. 83 back when it was first released in March, returned to the chart to take No. 96 this week.
Meanwhile, Jennie’s first full-length album “Ruby” overtook TWICE’s Nayeon’s solo debut mini album “IM NAYEON” to become the second longest-charting album by a female K-pop soloist on the Billboard 200. “Ruby”—which initially debuted at No. 7—climbed back up to No. 81 in its sixth consecutive week on the chart. To date, the only album by a female K-pop soloist to spend more weeks on the Billboard 200 is Jennie’s bandmate Rosé’s latest release “rosie.”
Over on Billboard’s global charts, “like JENNIE” rose to No. 4 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 6 on the Global 200 in its sixth week on both charts.
Congratulations to Jennie!
