Yeonwoo And Kim Hyun Jin Confirmed For New Drama

Yeonwoo and Kim Hyun Jin are set to star in the new drama “Love Phobia” (literal title)!

“Love Phobia” tells the story of Han Sun Ho, a romance novelist who is deeply in tune with his emotions, and Yoon Bi Ah, the emotionally detached CEO of the AI-powered dating app “It’s You.” When their paths cross, they slowly begin to understand each other and embark on a journey to find love.

Yeonwoo takes on the role of Yoon Bi Ah, a CEO with a traumatic past that prevents her from being around others for more than an hour. After years of isolation, she partners with her only trusted friend Jae Hee to develop a generative AI dating app. Though she appears cold and distant, Bi Ah hides deep emotional wounds beneath the surface.

Kim Hyun Jin plays Han Sun Ho, a bestselling author whose novels consistently sell out upon release. Known for his idol-like looks and immense popularity, his books often pre-sell before hitting shelves. Sun Ho harbors deep, hidden pain. When he faces a life-altering crisis, he crosses paths with Bi Ah and joins the “It’s You” project, marking a pivotal change in his life.

The production team shared, “The special combination of Yeonwoo and Kim Hyun Jin will fully satisfy fans’ expectations. The story of how these characters become intertwined through AI will also be an exciting ride.”

“Love Phobia” brings together writer Lee Se Ryeong, known for “Home for Summer,” and director Wang Hye Ryung, recognized for his stylish direction in “The Deal,” “Seasons of Blossom,” and “Let Me Off the Earth.”
