Jeon Somi Announces Official Fan Club Name
Jeon Somi has given her fandom an official name!
On April 24 at midnight KST, Jeon Somi announced that the name of her official fan club would be “SOMMUNCHI.”
“SOMMUNCHI” is a combination of “Somi” and the Korean word “munchi” (which means “bundle” or “unite” and is pronounced “moon-chee”), as well as a pun on the Korean word “som” (which means “cotton fluff”).
The formal announcement explained, “Soft and cozy like cotton fluff, but strong and powerful when we unite as one. [‘SOMMUNCHI’] means that Jeon Somi and MUNCHI are always together in every moment.”
