
BOYNEXTDOOR Is 1st K-Pop Artist To Become Global Ambassadors For FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship
BOYNEXTDOOR is officially the first K-pop artist ever to be named global ambassadors for the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) Men’s World Championship!
The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB)—which was founded in 1947 and is the international governing body for all forms of volleyball—has selected BOYNEXTDOOR as global ambassadors for the 2025 Men’s World Championship.
In addition to promoting this year’s tournament, which kicks off on September 12, BOYNEXTDOOR will be headlining the opening ceremony in Manila.
The BOYNEXTDOOR members remarked, “We’re excited to be global ambassadors [for the World Championship] in a meaningful year when the South Korean national team is participating, and we also feel a strong sense of responsibility.”
“We will do our utmost to help many people feel inspired by volleyball and experience its charm,” they continued. “Together with all the fans who love volleyball, we will be rooting for this tournament to be a success.”
The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) commented, “As global ambassadors of the 2025 Men’s World Championship, BOYNEXTDOOR will play a crucial role in promoting sportsmanship, unity, and competitive spirit. By generating greater interest in volleyball and fostering cultural exchange, BOYNEXTDOOR’s global influence will be a great help in achieving the tournament’s goal of bringing together nations from all over the world through volleyball.”
