Top 20 - June week 2

Baek Ji Young made it to No. 1 this week with her ballad "사랑안해" (I Won’t Love). The Latin dancing queen has successfully transformed herself into a ballad artist this time. She edged out Kim Jong Kook’s "편지" (Letter). Both songs scored quite low compared to recent weeks. That’s because SG Wannabe is changing to another song now and "내사람" (Partener for Life) drops back to No. 8 after 5 weeks on top of the chart.

As expected, Shinhwa’s "Once in a Lifetime" make the biggest jump, up 11 spots to No. 3. This song is not ranked on MNet’s M!Countdown yet, otherwise it would have jumped all the way to No. 1. Still, it is within striking distance to move up to the top next week.

Due to World Cup fever, not a lot of new songs this week or expected in coming weeks. 2 of the 3 new songs are re-entries this week. The only "pure" new song is Sweet Sorrow’s "아무리 생각해도 난 너를" (No Matter How Much I think, To You…I Am…). This song is from the SBS drama "Alone in Love". Even though this drama’s rating is mediocore, its soundtrack is selling quite well on the album chart. This is only the 2nd song from a drama that enters our top 20 this year. The other one was "Perhaps Love" from "Goong".
