A performance by singer Se7en will be aired in the U.S. through NHK U.S., according to Se7en’s agency, YG Entertainment, on Tuesday. The Korean star is to participate in the YG Family U.S. concert scheduled for mid-October.
NHK U.S. plans to closely cover Se7en as part of its regular program “Hot Talk USA,” broadcasting it for the Japanese communities in the U.S.
“The production team of the program expressed its intention to make a documentary about Se7en concerning his performance in the U.S. His popularity is growing among the Japanese, and we gladly said yes,” YG Entertainment said. The program will also be aired in Japan after being broadcast in the U.S. in mid-November.
The YG Family U.S. tour concerts, which marks its 10th anniversary, will be given at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington D.C. on Oct. 18, the Madison Square Garden in New York on Oct. 19 and the Grand Olympic Auditorium in LA on Oct. 21. Se7en will appear in all the concerts before coming back home at the end of October to start working on the promotion of his fourth feature album.
