Sung Shi Kyung leapfrogs a lot of strong challengers, jumping 13 spots from No. 14 to No. 1 with 거리에서 (On The Street). Just a month ago, Lee Seung Ki’s “제발” (Please) jumped a record 12 spots to No. 1. We are surprised that this record only lasted for a month, and Sung Shi Kyung did it one spot more.

DBSG’s “오-정반합” (O-Union) was the favorite to be the next No. 1 song, but lost out to Sung Shi Kyung mainly because of low internet chart scores. Its score is still rising, jumping from No. 5 to No. 2 this week. Let see if they can overtake Sung Shi Kyung next week.

Two other songs moved up 9 spots – MC Mong’s “아이스크림” (Ice-cream) and ERU’s “까만안경” (Black Glasses). These 2 songs are very popular in Korea now and are expected to move up further in the chart.

Four new songs this week, with two songs debuted into the top 10. Bi’s long awaited 4th album was released last month, and the title song “I am Coming” is our highest debutant this week at No. 8. Fans have been waiting 2 years for Bi’s new album and he certainly did not disappoint us.

Following right after Bi is Lee Seung Ki’s new song “원하고원망하죠” (Want and Resent), from his remake album. This song is a remade of an As One song. It replaced his 3 week No. 1 song ““제발” (Please), which was still No. 2 last week.

Debuting just under the top 10 is trot queen Jang Yoon Jung’s new song “이따,이따요” (Later, Later). Jang Yoon Jung has rekindled young people’s interest in trot music. She was our top female artist last year. Now she’s back with her 3rd album and it looks like another top 10 hit for her. This song will bring her even closer to pop fans because the melody is more pop friendly in my opinion.

The last debut song at No. 15 is from the “king of ballad” Shin Seung Hoon. He released his 10th album on October 10. The title song “Dream of My Life” entered our chart this week. The song is different from past Shin Seung Hoon songs with mid tempo melody and less “sadness”.

Its lyrics, written by Yoon Jong-shin, are about a man walking the street that holds precious memories of his lover from whom he has just separated. It is a Sung Si-kyung style ballad song displaying his gentle tone and vocals. Sung Si-kyung’s kissing scene with a Japanese actress was the highlight of the music video.

Arirang TV: Featured on TVXQ!’s third album titled "O-Union," it is a crossover song that combines various musical genres including hip-hop and electric music. The group displays a dazzling performance through its magnificence and message to the world.

Arirang TV: Featured on Son Ho Young’s first solo album titled "YES," this ballad song nicely displays a Korean sentiment with its simple and lyrical melody. Son Ho Young covers a range of three octaves in this song. The music video, which was made from clips of the movie "Old Garden" starring Yeom Jung-ah and Ji Jin-hee, is in wonderful harmony with the song’s beautiful string-instrumental melody.

Famous movie star, Ahn Sung-Gi, actress Lee Young-Ah and singer Kim Hyun-Joong (from SS501) have been chosen to be in this song’s music video. All three of them will get into a love triangle.
