Sung Shi Kyung’s ""거리에서" (On The Street) becomes the first song on our chart to record 6 straight weeks at No. 1. This time he held off yet another new challanger – ERU’s "까만안경" (Black Glasses), which moves up 3 spots to No. 2. Turtles’ "비행기" (Aeroplanes) also spent 6 weeks on the top earlier this year, but they were not 6 consecutive weeks – Psy’s "연예인" (Performer) spent 1 week on top in between.

Since M!Countdown resumed this week after a 3-week hiatus, a lot of movements are expected for next week. It is hard to predict whether Sung Shi Kyung’s song will continue to hold the top spot or not.

Back to this week’s top 20, we have more movement than last week. Gavy NJ’s "그녀가울고있네요" (She’s Crying) is our biggest mover of the week, up 11 spots to No. 8, also leapfrogging all the other 3 debutants of last week. It proves once again that a song’s initial entry position may not indicate the song’s popularity later on.

4 new songs this week, led by a top 10 debut from Shinhwa’s Jun Jin. His first solo song "사랑이 오지 않아요" (Love Doesn’t Come) enters our chart at No. 7. Like fellow member Shin Hye Sung, Jun Jin chooses a ballad to be his first single, which is different from the usual dance music that we are accustomed with Shinhwa. But this song can showcase his vocal talents, and it is a very nice ballad suitable for winter.

The next 2 new songs both involve SG Wannabe: At No. 13 is a project group S.101, which include SG Wannabe and Kim Jong Kook with the song "바람만바람만" (Only Wind Only Wind). This is not the first time SG Wannabe and Kim Jong Kook sing together. They also collaborated with M to M and Vibe earlier this year with another project group Big 4. Even though Kim Jong Kook is in the army now and S.101 won’t be performing this song on stage, it still doesn’t hurt its popularity, especially on internet charts.

At No. 17 is another SG Wannabe collaboration. This time SG member Yong Jun teams up with Ga In, the youngest member of Brown Eyed Girls, with a Christmas filled song "Must Have Love". This is the 2nd collobration by Brown Eyed Girls in the last 3 months. B.E.G. Leader Je-A teamed up with See Ya’s Yeon Ji on the song "The Day" which went as high as No. 3 in October. Let see if this song can do better.

The last new song at No. 20 is a new single by Byul. "물풍선" (Water Balloon) has a subtitle "After December 32nd". If you are familiar with Byul, you should notice that this song is a sequel of her debut song "December 32nd". This song is also written and produced by JYP. "December 32nd" hit No. 1 four years ago, let see if this song can duplicate the success.

Arirang TV: Featured on Sung Si-kyung’s fifth album titled "The Ballads," this song displays a new vocalism by uniquely using the falsetto. Its lyrics, written by Yoon Jong-shin, are about a man walking the street that holds precious memories of his lover from whom he has just separated. It is a Sung Si-kyung style ballad song displaying his gentle tone and vocals. Sung Si-kyung’s kissing scene with a Japanese actress was the highlight of the music video.

Arirang TV: Featured on Eru’s second album, this song was written by composer Yoon Myung-sun. It is a sentimental ballad song which talks about separation between lovers through the lyrics. Singer Daylight also features in the song. As a highlight, actor Ahn Sung-ki makes his first appearance ever in a music video. Along with him are actress Lee Young-ah and SS501’s Kim Hyun-joong who also play leading roles.

Arirang TV: Featured on Lee Seung-chul’s eighth album titled "Reflection of Sound," this medium tempo ballad song nicely blends a poignant melody with Lee Seung-chul’s unique vocals. Its simple lyrics and melody delivers the true meaning of love with which we can all empathize.

Arirang TV: The title song of Se7en’s 4th album. Teddy of One Time wrote the song and lyrics, and it is a 4-beat medium tempo pop ballad. Starting out with a rough and mature tone quality, the song slowly moves onto Se7en’s signature sweet voice. The vocal scheme is dreamy and it goes well with the emotional melodies. The lyrics about waiting for a woman whose having a difficult time over another man, will linger in your mind.

Kim Tae-woo, the vocal of the popular group god, has a solo album whose title song is “I want to say,’ which is a pop ballad sung in a moderated voice. You’ll hear the essence of Kim Tae-woo’s singing and his husky voice, as he sings about a couple missing the time when they used to be with each other.
