Park Shin Yang and Moon Geun Young lead the SBS drama "Flower Garden of the Wind (바람의 화원)"

9/4/08 — Park Shin Yang and Moon Geun Young will lead the Wednesday-Thursday drama "Flower Garden of the Wind (바람의 화원)", aka "Art Studio of the Wind", scheduled to be aired by SBS in September.

Flower Garden of the Wind

This drama portrays the story of two genius artists Kim Hong Do and Shin Yoon Bok (김홍도, 신윤복) in Chosun era. The storylines mix love, mystery, and arts together. It will be presented to TV viewers as both historical and trendy drama.

MGY plays Shin Yoon Bok who is a genius artist and disguises herself as a man by wearing male attire. Yoon Bok is the daughter of a famous Gisaeng specializing in twelve-stringed harp and a painter who was murdered. PSY plays Kim Hong Do. Yoon Bok and Hong Do, who have 10 years age difference, develop subtle love relationship.

This is Park Shin Yang’s first historical drama since his debut 13 years ago. He states, "I have never seen such as powerful project (drama or film). This drama has dramatic storylines."

Actor Bae Soo Bin (배수빈) plays King Jung Jo (정조) who has humane and solemn personality. BSB’s previous drama was "Joo Mong".

The PD of this drama is Jang Tae Yoo (장태유) who collaborated with Park Shin Yang in the drama "War of Money (SBS, 2007)". He has been very artistic since childhood and majored in Fine Arts in college.
