BONUS TRACK:
Miracle – Beastieboy
Genre: Pop / Rock / Dance
Album: Miracle digital single Beastieboy
Listen to: Full Song
Comment:
We rarely feature dance songs in this segment but this week is an
exception. Miracle is a co-ed quartet debuted last year. There weren’t
many mixed groups that in 2008 but Miracle a 4 member mixed group
released a single album the summer of that year. The song Beastieboy
was a dance number with j-pop and teenrock sounds combining three
genres into one, perfect for the summer season. If you were to
translate the meaning of beastieboy, it means a “vulgar guy.” The
meaning may cause a stir but if you hear the song itself, the lyrics
are cute and lovable. One of my favorite up-tempo songs this year.

Jewelry is a 4-membered girl group that debuted in 2001 with members
Park Jung Ah, Seo In Young, Jung Yoo Jin and Jun Eun Mi. Cho Min Ah and

first hit “Again.”, which is the song that puts them on the map.
“Again” was written by Miunki. It has a unique cross-over style and is
considered one of the best written pop dance songs in the last decade.
Although recognized, the group did not got a number one spot but they
came very close on each album. Park Jung Ah and Seo In Young also
released solo albums and in 2008 Ha Joo Yeon and Kim Eun Jung with the
