After
over a year since his last solo-album, Korea’s sweet bachelor Andy
comes back with a new album titled “Single Man”. With his rapping
skills to his soothing voice, Andy has the best of both worlds
incorporating both styles into his album.
His title track
“Single Man” brings the electro-pop with the fuse of hip-hop.
Introducing this type of genre into his new album helps with his new
style that really focuses on the bachelor he is. The easy-going rhythm
and techno-beat adds to its catchiness which will make you keep it on
repeat. Although he wants to be a ‘single man’, he doesn’t neglect love
with his other songs. Miss him rapping? Well, track 4 “It’s OK!” brings
back his cool rapping skills to the soft hip-hop beat in the
background. With his last album, Andy introduced his cuteness and he
brings it back with tracks 3; track 5 “Your Luv” infuses both styles of
hip-hop and sweetness into one track. However, hip-hop and pop isn’t
his only two genres that are included in the album; track 6 “Stop By
Love” is more of a ballad-type song that shows how Andy’s versatility.
Being
a ‘single man’, Andy still does a good job with capturing his fans by
using his vocals and style. Even though he is still known to be the
sweet bachelor of Korea, hearts will be swept away as people listen to
this album.
