DSP Confirms A’ST1 Disbandment

The group’s agency DSP Media said in a phone interview on the 6th, “A’ST1 has recently disbanded. The members are now going their own ways.”

The staff interviewed has avoided questions on reasons for the group’s disbandment. Earlier, the group leader Park JungJin  had wrote on A’ST1’s official fanclub site the news of the group’s disbandment on November 27.

He revealed, “I find it hard to believe too. We are sorry”,
“Currently the members are all doing well”, “And each members are
working hard at where they are now”, “Thank you everyone all this
while, you were our strength and we love you”.

The group, consisting of members Park JungJin, Seong InGyu, Im
HanByul, Byun JangMoon and Chinese member Haiming and Japanese member
Tomo, debuted back in 2008 with the song “1234BACK.”

Their last activity was in April where they released ‘Dynamite’.
