Girl Group Debuts And Comebacks In April-May

The domination of the girl groups as seen by So Nyeo Shi Dae,
T-ara and KARA in February and March will continue. We recently have seen After School return with their new song “Bang!”, and Secret with song “Magic” – much to the anticipation of fans.

In mid-April, we will be expecting a new album from SM Entertainment’s young girl group f(x), then later this month, we will also be seeing a new album
from another girl group LPG. 2NE1 has also just announced yesterday that their new album will be released in April as well.

Coming mid-May, we will also be seeing the comeback of
girl groups like Wonder Girls and 4Minute. It is known that 4Minute is
currently working on their new album with the aim of releasing their comeback album in
May. The Wonder Girls will also be having their comeback in Korea
with new member HyeRim. They have been away for some time with their
promotions in the States. Their new song and
choreography has already been completed.

Despite the many girl groups already out there, we will be seeing the debut of more new groups.

In mid-April, SISTAR will debut with Bang ShiHyuk as their
producer. In May 9-member girl group 나인뮤지스 will debut. One member of that group, Lee HyunJoo, came in first place during the 2007 Asia Pacific
Super Model Contest.
