Kara To Debut In Japan Under Universal Music Japan

Kara signed up under Universal Music Japan today and will make their Japanese debut this summer.

The Universal Music Group is the largest business group and family of record labels in the world. Under Universal Music Japan, KARA joins other K-Pop artists such as Big Bang and Beast.

Although they have not made their debut in Japan, they are already somewhat popular. In February KARA had a showcase in Japan, and was sold out in five minutes. They plan to go to Japan again in early May for fan meetings.  

While their offical Japanese debut is to be in July or August, KARA also released a special repackaged album in Japan today and debuted at #7 on Oricons Daily Charts.
