4minute Holds “LIVE Energy Vol.1 MUZIK” concert in Japan
On May 8, girl group 4minute has their 1st Concert “LIVE Energy Vol.1 MUZIK” at JEPP Tokyo (Odaiba, Tokyo) – Japan.
The girls performed in front of an estimated 4,000 spectators for the 1 hour and 30 minute long event. 4minute is performed hits such as “Hot Issue”, “Music” and “What A Girl Wants” as well as each members’ solo stage.
So Hyun did Lil Mama’s “G-Slide” for her solo, Ji Hyun sang Beyonce’s “Get me bodied” in which she was also able to show off her dancing skills. HyunA did her own single “Change” for her individual stage while Ji Yoon did Rihanna’s “Umbrella“. Last but not least, main vocal Ga Yoon performed Mika Nakashima’s “Snow Flower” in Japanese and receved a lot of love from the audience.
In addition, the girls also performed their recenetly released Japanese single “Muzik” for the first time and had a good response from the audience.
Before the concert, 4minute held a press session that included local stations such as : Asahi TV, TBS, NTV, proving the local media interest towards the group.
4minute agency Cube Entertainment, “In Japan, 4minute’s fans age range is between 10 – 20 years old. Their charismatic and powerful image differentiate them from the local (Japanese) girl groups and that is seemed to be the reason of the good response the girls have been receiving from the country,” he explained.
4minute released their Japanese Mini album “Muzik” on May 5th,2010 and have just begun their promoting their album there.
