Kim Jae Wook Joins Drama "Mary Stayed Out All Night"
As previously announced Jang Geun Suk and Moon Geun Young are going to star in the upcoming Korean drama “Mary Stayed out All Night,” however, there has been no statement on who would be the second male lead.
Now, it has been confirmed that actor Kim Jae Wook would take the lead, joining in as the third leg in the drama’s love triangle. Kim Jae Wook is best known for his pretty boy roles in the drama “Coffee Prince” and the movie ‘ Antique Bakery’. His most recent role was in the SBS drama “Bad Guy” where he played the troubled and damaged Chaebol.
As mentioned, the drama is based on a manhwa written by Won Soo Yeon, who was also the writer behind the original manhwa for the Korean drama “Full House”. The drama centers on Mary (Moon GY), who decides to give up on dating when all of a sudden she finds herself entangled in a love triangle with an indie rocker (Jang GS) and a man who is the perfect type (Kim JW). The drama will be a joint production between KBS and Japan’s ACC Korea.
“Mary Stayed Out All Night” is scheduled to air on November 8th following the Monday-Tuesday KBS drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal.”
