SNSD to Participate in Japanese Music Festival, Minus Tiffany
SNSD flew to Japan today to participate in the 2010 FNS Music Festival. They will perform alongside many of Japan’s most popular artists, including SMAP, Arashi, V6, AKB48, EXILE, Tube, KinKi Kids, and Ken Hirai. The festival will be held on Saturday.
A representative from SM Entertainment stated that Tiffany, who injured her left knee during a performance a few weeks ago, will not be performing. “The girls will perform at the annual music fest while member Tiffany will not participate in the show since she is still recovering from her knee injury.”
The FNS Music Festival originated in 1974 and has been produced and hosted every year since by Fuji Network System and Fuji Television.
SNSD is the first Korean girl group to reach No. 1 on the Japanese Oricon chart. Currently, their images can be seen on a major display board in Tokyo.
