Kwon Sang Woo & Jeon Ji-hyun Pairing a No-go
Kwon Sang-woo has finally been confirmed to play the lead male role as painless patient in the movie made from Kang Pool‘s original “Pain” (Director Kwak Gyeong-taek/ Filming company Chukje). Originally cast as the female lead opposite Kwon, actress, Jeon ji-hyun has declined the role. No reasons were given but her return to the Korean big screen remains tentative. Her agency has mentioned she is looking at a few possibilties between director Choi Dong-hoon‘s “Thieves” and director Lee Jae-yong‘s “Falling in Love”.
“Pain”, ‘Only lament’ tells a romantic story about a painless patient who for the first time falls in love with a woman who helps him to appreciate and start to enjoy life. The movie is slated to begin production sometime in February after the lead female role is confirmed. It is directed by Kwak Gyeong-taek (“Friend” and “a LOVE”).
