JYJ Receives Physical Examinations, SME Lawsuit Gets Dismissed
Guess what JYJ members did on Valentine’s Day? They received physical examinations at Korea’s Military Manpower Administration.
An official from C-JeS Entertainment stated, “The three members received physical examinations on Feb. 14th. Currently, they are waiting for results.”
The official further added, “but Yoochun has asthma so he needed received a thorough medical examination. It is possible that they might get re-examined after they get the results.”
JYJ has no plans on starting their military duties this year. They plan on launching a world tour in the first half of the year.
Meanwhile, the Seoul Central District Court today dismissed two lawsuits that SM Entertainment filed against JYJ. While SM Entertainment had filed an objection on Oct. 27th, 2009 to the Seoul Central District Court’s order on preventing their interference with JYJ’s individual activities and asked the court to suspend JYJ’s contract with C-JeS Entertainment, the court rejected both and ruled that SME’s exclusive contract is invalid. However, SM Entertainment has claimed that “legal battle is not over yet.” They further added, “the court’s decision was just based on the results of the injunction, and the exclusive contract between SM and JYJ is not invalid. We are currently preparing for another lawsuit on the merits and the date for pleading will be around mid-March.”
