KARA’s Goo Hara to Make Small Screen Debut with “City Hunter”

KARA’s Goo Hara is to appear in “City Hunter” alongside “Boys Before Flowers” star Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young. Kara’s agency, DSP Media, stated that Goo Hara was cast as the President’s daughter. The character is described as a high-spirited student who is preparing for her college entrance exams.

Currently, KARA is in a contract dispute with their agency and has limited their activities. DSP has announced that while the casting came at a bad timing, it was too good of an opportunity for Goo Hara to turn down. DSP also stated, “The plan is to restart each individual member’s activities; and when the time comes, resume the team activities.”

“City Hunter” is based on a Japanese detective manga and aims for filming in late March.
