KARA to Release New Japanese Single Later This Month
KARA is set to release their new Japanese single later this month. According to Japan’s Sankei Sports, KARA will release their fourth Japanese single, “Go Go Summer,” on June 29th. This would be the girl group’s first new track since last April’s “Jet Coaster Love,” which ended up topping the Oricon Singles Chart.
KARA has been at the center of controversy since the contract dispute last December with their long time management agency DSP Media. However, both parties reached a settlement in April and the group has resumed activities lately.
Their new single, “Go Go Summer,” is an up-tempo track that fits the hot summer weather. It will also be used as the theme song for LG Electronics’ new smartphone, “Optimus Bright.”
Meanwhile, KARA will hold their second official fan meeting titled, “What I Would Like to Say Now…,” on June 11th in Seoul. They already resumed activities in Korea through a live performance at the “2011 Dream Concert” on May 28th. It looks like KARA is fully committed to working together as a group again and fans should look forward to seeing more of the beautiful girls in the future.
