Jang Geun Suk in Malaysia: Press Conference

Jang Geun Suk held a press conference the following day after his showcase to wrap up the 2011 Jang Geun Suk “The Cri Show” Live in Malaysia.

The 2011 Jang Geun Suk “The Cri Show” Live in Malaysia was organized by Rhythm Land alongside with HS Media. MC Owen Yap mentioned that the showcase was a huge success and that Jang Geun Suk was so touched by the fans’ overwhelming reaction that he even shed tears prior his last performance.

Jang Geun Suk entered the room and greeted the reporters. Although he seemed exhausted from his last show, he was in a good mood. When asked about his expectation toward Malaysian fanshe replied that he was surprised and excited to see so many people at his showcase because he didn’t expect many would show up. He was a bit late for the press conference because he forgot to take off his makeup before going to bed. He also added that couldn’t wait to return to Malaysia again due to kind and cordial hospitality of Malaysian people.

To the next question regarding his achievement in the Japanese Oricon Chart with his debut single, he replied that he prepared a lot for the album and that its success was possible because of his fans. He also revealed that he was in the middle of preparing new songs for future release.

The next question asked about how he manages his schedule while juggling both singing and acting. He said that he always works hard and is confident about doing things that he truly loves.

The 2011 Asia Tour meant a lot to him. With his tight schedule, he still wanted to meet his fans in Asia and hoped that everybody enjoyed the show. Also, this show truly shows alot about himself which he wanted to share with his fans.

He was surprised when the MC mentioned that not only fans from other Asian countries but also fans from Qatar and other far countries came to Malaysia to see his showcase. He stated that he felt grateful for the love and support of his dedicated fans. He also claimed that this showcase reminded him of his first fanmeeting that was held in Japan a few years ago due to the similar hall and audience’s response. All these reminded him of his rookie days.

As he said goodbye, he stated that while it was his first visit to Malaysia, this is only the beginning since he hopes to  have the opportunity to visit again. He also mentioned that he wants to continue to challenge himself as an actor and that he is currently working on a new Japanese album.
