2AM Jinwoon To Debut A Solo Rock Album
2AM’s Jinwoon sees a childhood dream to be a rock star come true. The ballad group’s youngest member will be releasing a solo album late July, 2AM’s music producer Big Hit Entertainment announced on Thursday, June 16th.
The title of the new album is yet to be revealed, but an announcement on Big Hit Entertainment’s official web site already pegged the first performance of the title track at the 2011 Jisan Valley Rock Festival on July 31st.
The format of Jinwoon’s debut solo album is also yet to be decided, local media reported.
Meanwhile, Jinwoon’s co-2AM member Changmin will join 8Eight’s Lee Hyun for the HOMME project before 2AM’s Korean comeback in September.
Along with Jinwoon and Changmin, Jo Kwon and Seulong make up the quartet trained and discovered by JYP Entertainment. Known for their soulful vocals, 2AM are currently on a promotional tour across Asia for their first full-length album “Saint O’Clock.”
