Choi Sung Bong, a 22-year-old, is a boy who has struggled with poverty and lived on his own since he was five years old. He is shy and looks as normal as normal goes, and there is nothing flashy about him. However, the moment he opened his mouth to sing, he brought the audience and the judges to tears.

Choi’s story has spread all over the world and has found a place in the hearts of worldwide celebrities as well. Thanks to the man who discovered him, Justin Bieber discovered the story of Choi Sung Bong. Justin Bieber recently updated his Facebook fanpage saying, “Scooter tweeted this. This is awesome. NEVER SAY NEVER and good luck to this kid. great story. WATCH THIS.”
American blogger Perez Hilton also reported Choi’s story onto his website and wrote that Choi has a “beautiful voice and moving story. It’s no shock that he moved the whole audience to tears, and one of the judges offered to take him in vocally regardless of how far he got in the competition. We wish you all luck, Sung-Bong Choi!”
