Ryu Shi Won to Race in the Ferrari Challenge Series in China

Actor Ryu Shi Won’s agency R’s Company has announced that he will be competing in the Ferrari Challenge Series race in China from June 17^th to June 19^th. Ryu Shi Won is a well-known car racer, yet this will be his first time to represent Korea in an international race.

Ferrari Challenge started in Europe and North America back in 1993, held as a friendly competition for Ferrari owners and racers. Around 2,200 drivers from 24 countries have taken part in the race so far. And it has expanded its scope to Asia- Pacific region this year; the fifth round of the race will be held in China and Japan. The official Ferrari’s importer, Forza Motors Korea, has chosen Ryu Shi Won to take part in the race, and will act as his sponsor.

Ryu Shi Won currently has his own pro-racing team EXR TEAM1060. For the race this time, he will drive the Ferrari 458 Challenge, which was designed specifically for the race. After practice and test runs, he will be competing in two official races on the last day of the event.

Hong Kong’s star Aaron Kwok will participate this year as well, thus there is a chance the two star will be racing together.
