SNSD's Seohyun Meets Her Idol, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon
SNSD’s youngest member Seohyun, who confessed to looking up to United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon met her role model at a charity event on August 12th.
The idol presented the UN Secretary-General with some tokens, which included a copy of the “Hoot” mini-album and a card. She then had her copy of Mr. Ban’s “Study Like A Fool, Dream Like A Genius” autographed and inscribed with an encouraging message.
“World peace through the song of love,” the world leader wrote.
Seohyun as well as other celebrities gathered at the Plaza Hotel in Seoul to support the “Help African Children” project of UN Secretary-General Ban and the UNICEF. Along with Seohyun, SNSD’s Tiffany and Sunny, SHINee’s Key and Taemin, f(x)’s Victoria and Amber, actors Kim Yoon Jin and Shin Hyun Joon and national swimming champion Park Tae Hwan, among others were also present at the launch event, dubbed “Together for Africa.”
The project, under the auspices of the Korean UNICEF Committee will raise funds to combat famine and disease and help the children of Africa, particularly its poorest regions.
