SNSD’s Jessica and 2PM’s Taecyeon: The Dating Rumors Continue

Rumors are circulating once again that SNSD’s Jessica is dating 2PM’s Taecyeon. On August 15^th, several photos of the two enjoying a secret coffee date in Japan were posted on a local online community board. In the photos titled, “Taecyeon-Jessica, Spotted together having a date in Japan,” the two stars are seen ordering drinks at a coffee shop in Tokyo. They seem to be taking a break from their busy schedules as they are dressed in casual wear.

After the release of these photos, both SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment denied dating rumors, saying, “They are known be good friends. SNSD and 2PM have always been close because they often promote and perform during the same time period. It was confirmed they met for some tea after completing their respective schedules in Japan. They were just happy to see each other in Japan.”

However, this is not the first time Jessica and Taecyeon were involved in a dating scandal. Last November, online rumors had it that Jessica and Taecyeon frequently watched movies together, with some even claiming to have seen the two cuddling throughout the movie. There were also a number of posts saying the two were spotted together at a restaurant.

In fact, a person claiming to have worked at Megabox, one of the largest movie theaters in Seoul, wrote at the time that he saw a lot of celebrity couples there, including Jessica and Taecyeon, as well as the now-split-up couple SHINee’s Jong Hyun and Shin Se Kyung. “I work at Megabox, and I see Jeesica and Taecyeon every day lol. I smell something fishy, it looks like they’re dating lol. Also SHINee’s Jong Hyun and Shin Se Kyung look like they’re dating lol. I see a lot of celebrities while working here…there are a lot of celebrity couples LOL,” the netizen wrote on a local online board. A few weeks later, Jong Hyun and Shin Se Kyung admitted their relationship after paparazzi photos of them surfaced online.

Taecyeon and Jessica were again asked about their relationship when they appeared together on the July 26^th episode of SBS “Strong Heart.” Taecyeon talked about how 2PM originally wanted to have f(x)’s Krystal featured in “Hands Up,” and that he called Jessica to get Krystal’s phone number. But Super Junior’s Eunhyuk brought up an interesting point, asking, “Why did Taecyeon get Krystal’s number through Jessica when he just could have gotten the number from Nichkhun? (Nichkhun co-stars with Krsytal’s band mate Victoria on MBC “We Got Married” and it’s easier for him to ask her)”

So there you have it, another Jessica-Taecyeon dating rumor to stoke up your interest. Following Jong Hyun and Shin Se Kyung, and the recently revealed Goo Hara-Yong Joon Hyun couple, do we have another idol couple here? That just sounds too good to be true though, right?
