Actor Shin Hyun Joon Confesses That He Was Arrested in Paris

During a recent recording of KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together 3“, actor Shin Hyun Joon confessed that he was once arrested by the French police during his visit to Paris. 

The actor revealed, “In the past, I was taken to jail in France when I traveled to Paris.”

“At the time, I had attended a film festival with director Kang Je Gyu and was heading to the airport to catch my flight to LA. The workers at the airport seemed to disregard us because we were Asian.”

He continued, “Director Kang Je Gyu got angry and started to yell when suddenly the iron door opened and the police took us to jail. They made us take off our shoes and clothes and poured water all over us.”

Despite their scary encounter, Shin Hyun Joon still ended the story on a happy note as he said, “During our two-night three-day stay in jail, they gave us sticks of baguette bread for us to eat. Because I was so scared, I didn’t have much of an appetite. On the other hand, director Kang Je Gyu ate even more just so that he could live.”
