300,000 Tickets Sold for 2NE1's First Japanese Tour
A total of 300,000 tickets were registered for 2NE1’s first Japanese Tour Concert. 2NE1’s Japanese recording company, AVEX, said that July 23 was the early sale of the tickets but since there were more demands than expected, they decided to add the Yokohama Arena concert on September 20. “The regular ticket sale started September 4 from 10AM and the tickets were sold out the day of. The number registration for tickets was over 300,000 total,” they added.
2NE1 is planning on performing from September 19 until October 2 from Yokohama Arena, Gobe World Memorial Hall, Chiba Makuhari Messe, and three other cities, going around total of 6 as their first Japan tour. They are also going to meet up with 70,000 fans.
“70,000 getting together for a concert is the most we’ve ever seen for Japan debuting Korean idols,” said Sankei Sports. AVEX is considering selling tickets for extra seats for the concerts.
2NE1 is going to release their first Japanese mini album on September 21.
