Wang Ji Hye Talks About Shooting Kiss Scenes for "Protect the Boss"

On the recently-aired “Protect the Boss X-File,” Wang Ji Hye spoke about her kiss scenes with Ji Sung and JYJ‘s Jaejoong, the drama’s two male leads.

The actress expressed her initial nervousness in shooting the kiss scene with Jaejoong, but stated that once filming began, “I was nervous for nothing,” and that, “We (herself and Jaejoong) are of the same age, and so I am comfortable with him.” 

She then shared some backround about the kiss scene stating that, “Originally it was planned to film the kiss scene the day before, so I had gone with my heart prepared. But the filming was delayed and so we could not film the scene and it was pushed back to be done the next day.”

Apparently, the kiss scene between her and Cha Ji Hun (Ji Sung) was the shot during the drama’s first filming session. “I thought it would be awkward but fortunately it came out pretty well. I am allergic to grass and so after filming the kiss scene I got some rashes but I had fun filming.”

“Protect The Boss” airs on SBS, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:55PM KST.
