GD&TOP to Debut in Japan with "Oh Yeah"
This November, Big Bang‘s first unit group, GD&TOP, will be making their Japanese debut with their first single album, “Oh Yeah.”
On September 14, YG Entertainment revealed that they will be releasing their Japanese recorded single, “Oh Yeah,” on November 9. Although Big Bang has been promoting heavily in Japan since 2009, this will be the first time the group will be putting out a unit. Aside from “Oh Yeah,” included in the album are their other songs like “High High” and “Knock Out.”
“The Japanese will be able to see G-Dragon and T.O.P.’s characterstic stage manners right at the scene. Big Bang has mostly rapped in English while promoting in Japan, but they’ll be rapping in Japanese for the first time, which we’re sure will catch some attention,” officials of YG Entertainment said.
“Oh Yeah” was a highly popular song in Korea in itself, as it also features participation by 2NE1‘s Bom.
