[Update] SNSD’s Album Release Delayed, No Official Date Set

Originally SNSD’s new title song for their third official album “The Boys” was to be released on October 4. However, Korean media sources began to report that album retailers were stating that the date for the album release would be delayed.

Other news sources such as XPORTSNEWS is currently reporting that SM Entertainment has stated that the release of SNSD’s new album in South Korea will be delayed, due to their planned American sales. Originally, SM had planned to release “The Boys” through various music sites in Asia and Korea, as well as on iTunes.

According to XPORTSNEWS, SM Entertainment stated, “We are planning to strategically change our date for release because it will be worldwide and simultaneous. We will give out more details as it is decided.”
