Lee Hyori, “Instead of Buying Fur Clothes, Do Community Service with Me”

Through her twitter, Lee Hyori has once again stated her strong stance against fur. She wrote on October 6, “Everyone, because the weather is getting colder, department stores are filling u with fur coats and clothes no? For a while I also wore them. However, I have learned that instead of wearing animals, it is warmer to hug them with love and also makes you look better as well.”

She continued, “Instead of buying expensive fur clothes, why don’t you do community service with me. What do you think of hugging an animal all night and drinking a shot of soju with me?”

In May, Lee Hyori had also given her stance against fur, for a fur show that was held by the city of Seoul.

Netizens have commented, “She is certainly sensible,” “Hyori has a beautiful heart as well as beautiful looks,” “because of you I am now interested in protecting animals.”

Lee Hyori is well-known for having a soft spot for animals, and has also campaigned for helping abandoned animals.
