Jang Geun Suk Kicks Off Japanese Arena Tour on a High Note
Jang Geun Suk held the first concert of the “2011 Jang Geun Suk Arena Tour The CRI Show in Japan ‘Always Close To You’” on Oct. 20 in Nagoya in front of more than 10,000 eager fans.
Opening up the show with a group of dancers dressed in royal guard outfits, Jang Geun Suk started the concert on a high note with fancy choreography and powerful live singing. Dressed as a prince, the talented actor/singer used special lifts and wires to enhance his performance on stage. He performed all four tracks from this Chinese EP album, including “Gotta Getcha,” “Shake It,” “Run Away,” and “Victory,” while he revealed “Mercurian” and “I Put Up with It Enough,” the two tracks specially produced for the Arena Tour, for the first time.
Also, Jang Geun Suk gave impromptu live guitar performances based on several key words given on stage. He also showed off his refined dancing skills, as he gave a sensational sexy performance with a female counterpart for “I Put Up with It Enough.”
Jang Geun Suk paid special attention to this concert. It was reported he spent over 12 hours for the final rehearsal of the show on Oct. 19 while he actively participated in the entire production, styling, and recording of the event.
The “2011 Jang Geun Suk Arena Tour The CRI Show in Japan ‘Always Close To You’” will be held a total of five times across three Japanese cities. The next concert will be held in Osaka on Oct. 22 and 23.
