Lee Seung Gi Talks About His Upcoming Military Service
Singer and actor Lee Seung Gi has spoken about the issue of army enlistment.
On October 26 at a cultural arts center in Seoul, Lee Seung Gi’s online music broadcast program and a press conference were held.
Lee Seung Gi who is currently 24, has still yet to start his military service. On this day, he received a question about his plans for enlistment. He replied, “I think the time for me to go do my military duties is coming up. I think as a Korean man, it’s a mandatory obligation.”
Lee Seung Gi continued to say, “There is a certain standard that I have decided for myself but because I don’t know how things will turn out, it’s too early to announce anything in detail. However, I know that I won’t be going to the army too late.”
Furthermore, Lee Seung Gi went on to say, “It might be next year and in my heart, I wish to go when my body is healthy and I still have that image of a young adult.”
Lee Seung Gi will mark his comeback after two long years with his official fifth album, “Tonight,” which will be released on October 27. The title song for this album will be “We’re Friends,” which is produced by top producer Bang Shi Hyuk, who also produced “Love Teaches How To Drink.”
