Ock Joo Hyun Goes to Vienna to Improve Her Acting

Singer and musical actress Ock Joo Hyun has recently departed to Vienna, Austria. In preparation for her role in musical “Elizabeth,” Ock Joo Hyun has used her vacation time before official rehearsals to learn more about the life of her character Queen Elizabeth.

Through this trip to Vienna, Ock Joo Hyun hopes to learn more and gather information about the time period Queen Elizabeth lived in and the culture that surrounded her. This part of her trip will be documented by SBS show “Good Morning” and will be able to be observed by fans. 

Ock Joo Hyun’s trip to Vienna will begin with a visit to Sylvester Levay, who produced the music to the musical. She has shown interest in exchanging opinions and thoughts about the musical as well as receiving advice on singing and acting. 

Also, in order to study her character more in-depth, Ock Joo Hyun will meet with Queen Elizabeth’s living descendant and talk about Queen Elizabeth’s personal life and history. 

The musical “Queen Elizabeth” will open Februrary 9 next year.
