Ha Ji Won Confirmed to Appear on New MBC Drama "The King"
Ha Ji Won is confirmed to appear on the MBC drama “The King” that will broadcast in March. A representative of her agency stated on January 10, “Ha Ji Won has decided to appear on the drama ‘The King.’ However, she has not yet signed the contract. She is currently going through final negotiations.”
According to the representative, filming for the dram will begin at the end of this month. It has been nearly 1 year and two months since she last appeared in a drama. (Secret Garden)
In the drama, Ha Ji won will play the role of Kim Hang Ha who is a part of the North Korean Special Forces. Currently, the drama production team is still casting the male lead. (In December, Jo In Sung was stated by MBC to appear on the drama when in fact he had actually declined the offer.)
“The King” is about a marriage between a North Korean Special Forces female marrying a prince of South Korea.
