ZE:A's Siwan Apologizes for Jacket Error in "The Moon that Embraces the Sun"

Earlier today, ZE:A’s Siwan addressed the amusing anachronism error viewers noticed in last night’s episode of “The Moon that Embraces the Sun,” starring Kim Soo Hyun, Han Ga In, and Jung Il Woo. Adorably, he tweeted, “Photo of Heo Yeom’s padded jacket!!! I’m so sorry everyone. I was just so attached to this jacket that day. It was just so lovely, so I couldn’t let go of it!!” He added, “Next time, no matter how lovely and warm my jacket looks, I won’t let it be so noticeable ^ ^.”

Netizens responded, “It’s so cold these days. No wonder your padded jacket seemed so lovely” and “You must be having a tough time because it’s so cold. Heo Yeom hwaiting!”

In the popular drama, Si Wan plays young Heo Yeom (later played by Song Jae Hee), who is the Crown Prince Lee Hwon’s teacher and Heo Yeon Woo’s (later played by Han Ga In) brother.

Last night, “The Moon that Embraces the Sun” achieved 23.2% viewership rating, a 3.3% increase from last Thursday. Lee Dong Wook’s “Wild Romance” and Gu Hye Sun’s “Please Take Care of Us Captain” recorded 6.4% and 9.4% respectively. 

Episode 4 of “The Moon that Embraces the Sun” will air tonight, January 12, on MBC at 9:55PM KST.
